Choosing the Right Outdoor Banner Stands

Posted by on Sunday, 9 May, 2010

If the trade show or exhibition you are attending is outside then it is very important that the equipment you have for it is suitable for an outside stand. There are special outdoor banner stands and outdoor displays that are made to withstand wind and outdoor conditions.

It is important to remember when you set up a booth that many people will be forming their first impressions of your company by looking at your booth. If your booth is professional looking and your display is attractive and appealing, it will give people a positive impression of your company. If your booth set up is not suited for the outdoors or your booth is in any way shoddy or looks tacky and cheap, then it will defeat the purpose of having a booth in the first place, or be counterproductive.

The first thing to know before choosing outdoor banner stands is what size they should be. In addition, to know that, you will need to plan how you will arrange your booth. In fact, it pays to do this as soon as you possibly can, because sometimes there can be unexpected delays in getting your order and you will need to be sure to have these in time for the trade show. Make sure to measure the booth carefully and decide where you will put the table and shelves, if you have any, how many banners and displays you need and what size they should be. Make sure they are not too large or too small; also make sure that if you have a TV or computer as part of your display that it does not get blocked.

There are a variety of banner stands, some smaller and some taller and the prices vary, depending on what material the stand is made out of, brand name, and size. The taller it is, the more it will cost. As was mentioned above, many people will be forming their first impression of your company based on your stand and so it is important to have a high quality set up, even if you have to invest a bit more money. Do not go for the cheapest buy, but you also do not have to go for the most expensive. Usually somewhere in between is good as that gives you good quality at a decent price.

It is also possible to rent the items you need for your outdoor booth and the main advantage to renting as opposed to buying is that it will cost you less, at least in the short term. If you set up a number of trade show booths over a period of time, however, it can be helpful to have your own equipment as then you do not have to worry about renting the items you need each time. It is a worthwhile investment to buy your own banner stands. It is also quite easy to store banner stands and trade displays, especially if they are pop up displays or banners. However, if you are limited with your budget, it can be better to rent something that is good quality instead of buying something that is tacky looking or poor quality.

You can buy any outdoor trade show equipment you need from companies that sell them. They will often have a selection there, or a catalogue that you can look through. If you are not quite sure what you want your banner stands to look like, then it pays to take some time to study a few catalogues, or look through online catalogues, so you can get an idea of the different kinds there are and what kind would look good with your booth. Different kinds look good with different booths, depending on what your company colors are and what the style of booth is meant to be. In addition, check to see what kind of warranty is offered. Some may offer long term or even lifetime warranties and since you are most likely investing a lot of money buying the stands, it is a good idea to choose something that will last a long time.

You can also buy the items you need from an online retailer. While you do not get to see your purchase close up and have to rely on a photo of it, if you know what you want then this can be advantageous in that you will be able to compare prices easily and quickly and select the best buy. You may also find it is cheaper to buy what you need online, particularly if the retailer you are buying from ships the items to you for free. However, not all do, or they will only do so in a limited area, so you should factor in the cost of shipping along with your purchase.

Pop Up Stand for Trade Fair Booths and Exhibitions

Posted by on Wednesday, 17 February, 2010

If you are setting up a booth at a trade fair, getting the right pop up display stands is a must. Pop up stands are advantageous in that they are easy to set up and easy to take back down again, which is very helpful to those running the booth, as they will not have to spend long hours setting up and packing up. Pop up stands are professional looking and will enhance your booth, attracting potential customers and people interested in doing business with you. Another advantage is that pop up stands can be kept year after year and reused as needed. While they do need some care and you will have to make sure to store them properly, pop up displays are great investments.

Of course, no matter what type of pop up display you buy, it will cost money and a fair bit of money too, if you want to get something that is well made and good quality. You can also rent different kinds of pop up stands as well, which is more cost effective in the short term. Renting pop up displays is also a good idea if you are not sure that you would want to reuse the same displays again; that way you can get something new next year, or next trade fair. However, if you do set up booths and exhibitions often then purchasing the needed display stands does work out to be more cost effective in the long run. Whether you rent or buy your display stands, you will want to make sure to get something high quality. Your booth is often the first impression people will get of your company and the product or service you are offering and as has been said, it is almost impossible to undo a first impression. Having something that is cheap, or tacky looking, will work against you in the long run.

The first thing to do is to check out the location of your booth. Measure the height, width, and length of the area you have to work with so you know what kind of display or displays will fit and how high and long they should be. You will want something that will attract attention to your booth and be large enough that people can see it from a distance away but at the same time, you do not want something that is too large. Conversely, you do not want something that is too small for the area that you are using.
You should consider carefully exactly what kind of pop up display stands you want – if you are selling VCD’s or DVDs then a pop up TV stand, or pop up plasma TV stand will likely be a must. You may also find these helpful for other products as it allows you to play advertisements for them. You will want to check beforehand how loud you can play such advertisements as the trade fair may have guidelines regarding this.

You can buy display stands or pop up banner stands, as well as pop up mini counters, custom made from a number of different companies and online retailers. Having it custom made offers a number of advantages, the main one being that you will get exactly what you want, how you want it – it will be the exact size and style you want, which you may not be able to find otherwise, depending on what you have in mind. Naturally, this costs more than simply ordering something that is already made. You will of course want to check out one or more companies and online retailers to see what they offer, how much it costs, and, if ordering online, whether the company pays for the shipping or you do.

Pop up displays are made from gold, silver, titanium or platinum and the display part can either be fabric or graphic. You will most likely want to choose something that coordinates well with the logo of your company and the company ‘colors.’ If you get a graphic display stand make sure that it is designed exactly how you want it, especially if you plan to use it for more than one exhibition or trade fair.

You should take care to order your pop up stands as early as possible. Most trade fairs will allow you to check out your booth well in advance; it is wise to do so. See and decide exactly what you will need and allow time for shipping, or for the company not having what you want in stock right away. Particularly if you are getting something that is custom made you will want to make sure to allow plenty of time for the company to make exactly what you have in mind.

Instant Advertising: The Pop Up Stands

Posted by on Tuesday, 16 February, 2010

Pop up stands have been around for a while now, at least since the early 1970s. Pop up display stands can be found in so many different types of venues. You can literally see them in about every establishment you enter. Have you been to a Hollywood Video or an Albertson’s? They are there in the front advertising some sort of special. They are in exhibition centers and trade show events. Pop up banner stands could be in movie theatres or at the Roseville Galleria. It does not matter, pop up banner stands do not discriminate nor do they issue any conjunctions against their employer. They do not ask for overtime nor do they require dental. They are loyal and obedient and as long as you take care of them, they will facilitate spreading your message; whatever that message may be.

Pop up stands have so many different types of purposes. They can hold signs and sign holder propaganda, picture assortments, restaurant menus, signs made of acrylic, metal, and wood. Some have specially designed brochure containers and others have little compartments for business cards.

The pop up stand is excellent for trade shows. The colorful and dynamic graphics that can be propped up on the tradeshow booth can accentuate the banners on the pop ups that you have. These are more than suitable and can just radiate at a convention and exhibition. Pop up booths can also be referred to pop up displays or exhibition booths. They are an excellent way to attract more clients or customers at a trade show. Many companies use these to spread their underlined theme around. The banner could be specific or vague, with the correct mix or message, both can appeal to people that are walking by. There is not any specific way to add hype and allure to your product and service. This pop up item is element is befitting and congruous for this because they are lightweight and could be placed right near an entrance or exit. When they are placed near the entrance, this could cause a positive alarm in the potential customer’s face. When they are placed intentionally near the exit, they serve a dual purpose. Those purposes are:

• When someone is leaving the event and see your item on display, fully exposes, that will be the final reminder of them for that day pertaining to that event. This would be a perfectly legitimate place for a pop up display stand and this is the point of marketing.

• The other point of putting an item such as this at the exit is too catch another customer. Perhaps someone walked around the facility’s grounds and did not see your booth. With this sign there, they feel guilty if they left or they would feel like if they continued to leave like they may have missed out on something. If they paid to enter, their frame of thought could be something like, “well, I paid to see what this event had to offer and if I leave now I may not have received my money’s worth and I could feel cheated. I could also have missed something that I could brag to my family and friends about, something truly special.” It could be a combination of these or just one. Either way, this person, because of this pop up item, would spend more time in the trade show which could give a reason the trade show is more successful that it could have been.

Pop up TV stands are also highly sought after since they enable a TV to be in that place when otherwise it would be quite a difficult feat and not as enticing. Not everyone wants to hang a TV on the wall, and some homeowners would frown on the idea. With this stand, the TV could be put on a dresser, mantles, or any other furniture space. This is excellent for the bedroom since you can have a cabinet drawer at the foot of the bed and a TV placed on a TV stand right there. This is ideal for bedrooms that are spacious. The wall is too far away so if you put the TV on that wall, it would be too small to see. Even if the wall became the TV, which is about 10 years out, you may miss some things because you are elevated on the bed and the bottom of the wall could be out of view if you were lying down. Your own feet would be in the way. In addition, that commercial where the couple was watching the TV on the ceiling, is that really practical? Let us hope that TV does not ever fall down on the person or persons in the bed in that scenario. That would be truly tragic but the source of late night comedy if anyone was not mortally wounded.

Stands: The Strong Supporter

Posted by on Tuesday, 16 February, 2010

What is a stand? Have you ever put together a fake Christmas tree? Those branches connect to a center column stand that stands on a firm base. There is no limitation on the type of stands that are available in the marketplace. There are banner stands and these come with specially designed graphics. These graphics are the bread and butter. They shine even when the sun is not, in fact, in the outdoors, in gloomy weather, those graphics may bring some joy to the people who see that sign. Additionally, they will remember the product or have a better chance of remembering the company that that advertisement belonged too.

Stands are ubiquitous and they are not on strike. They are not about to protest anything. They are loyal and needed. Their numbers are always in demand, perhaps they are not as needed now compared to two years ago because the economy is in shambles but even in manmade distressed economies, organizations still need to promote themselves.

These items are used in every aspect of our lives. They are used in the public and private sector. The military uses them to defend our freedom. The use of these items is insufferable but anti-climactic. They hold things in front of us without ever receiving a compliment; we pretty much take their incredible presence for granted. I am glad they are inanimate object or their feelings would be hurt. Despite being tangible, their opinions are never asked for but they serve their duty with honor and distinction. Even if it is just a TV stand in a military barrack’s lounge, that TV is raising morale, which is as important as anything. Sometimes there is not an abundance of spacing in military housing or buildings. That is why someone invented the corner TV stand. It is perfect if there is not any wall space.

TV stands are considered pieces of furniture. So these items are given at least that amount of credit. Many are incredibly practical, super appealing and built to last. They are earthquake proof. A TV Stands will last longer than the TV. In addition, they are almost as important. These items enrich the value of home entertainment and lift the spirits of the entire family. They are tremendous for family functions. Television stands have multiple aspects like concealed casters, switchable shelves, and the ability to manipulate the wires in a convenient manner. These new television stands are aesthetically pleasing and more than practical.

Where would we be without speaker stands? A bedroom or a break room would easily be outfitted with surround sound. Sometimes mounting speakers on the wall is not allowed by the real estate owner or is against the policy of the building’s code. These items are perfect for this since they elevate the sound and are just as useful as the TV stand. These items are worth the money and pay for themselves. They may not be as important as food but they are right behind the chairs and tables.

Where would be without the stand? Stephen King’s best book, before he added about 75 pages of useless character information, is titled The Stand. Even this famous writer knows the vitality and how critical this object means to humanity. What would life on earth be without it?

Can we return to the realm of advertising? When it comes to presenting your company or organization’s image to the public, the banner stand steps up the podium and volunteers its service. These material objects allow someone to proclaim their presence surreptitiously. They save the voice of the sales clerk and company representative. They do not need to be boisterous or egomaniacs when it comes to their products since the banner stand is allow that image to reverberate across the divide. This allows the sales folks to just fill in the finer details regarding their products and services.

These objects can come in all different specifications. Whatever the size and scope of the banner, the support object will be there along the way. Banner stands are also easy to prop up and put into action, even if that action is quite stationary. They are disciplined and hold down their ground.

Where can the banner stand be placed?

• Huge show cases
• Massive presentation arenas
• Conferences and gigantic sales events
• To back up and assist huge display stands

Banner stands come in all modifications. There are five separate types, they are:

• The small in stature kind, quite portable
• An item that is referred to as “tension,” they are not bendable
• The rolling kind
• This has nothing to do with the old method of listening to music but it is called the cassette banner stand
• The outdoor or exterior kind

Cassette stands are also like the roller items. The cassette is removable; it enables the user to alternate the banner or graphics in just moments. This is just an example of one of these types of the titled items, the rest are understandable. It does not matter what you need to be placed above the ground, away from the critters and standing water, there is a proud stand waiting to fulfill its role.

Roll Up Banner Stands – The Best Display Solution

Posted by on Monday, 15 February, 2010

Lightweight and portable roll up banner stands are an idea that has been chosen over outdated methods of presentation and advertising for years now. It is no longer necessary to drag an easel and display board into an important meeting to present a product or concept. Restaurants, hotel lobbies, and lounges can do away with old-fashioned sign holders and create banners that are stunning, clear, and all but disappear at the end of the day.

The Concept

Roll up banners are also known as retractable banner signs, roll-up retractable banners, and a few other names as well. The concept functions like a projector screen. A smooth vinyl banner is pulled from a spring-loaded roller, and locks out at several heights depending on the need. To apply this to an advertising display, the stand is wide enough to stand without support, and the fully extended vinyl roll up banner is supported by a telescoping aluminum arm.

The roll up retractable banner stand is nothing if not convenient, and when it is finished being used for display, the banner and aluminum support fold up neatly into the base and into the padded case. Carry it off by throwing the padded shoulder strap over your arm.

The roll up banner is more than just a revived concept from the era of movie projectors; it is a smart way to protect your investment. Because the banner recoils into a cartridge within the base of the banner stand, the graphics or artwork on it are protected from potential physical damage during transport or set-up, as well as from the elements. The solid base contains everything and weighs in at only 6-13 pounds, depending on size.

About Size

The weight of the banner stand will depend on how large the banner is, and whether or not there is an additional spring mechanism for rewinding. These stands can be found from about 24 to 48 inches wide, and up to 96 inches tall. Some companies offer wall panel displays where a very large print is broken up into several roll up banners. To maintain the smooth look with any banner size, be sure the banner stand has a tension knob. For the best presentation, the banner needs to be tight and smooth. Do not forget to choose a stand that goes with your theme. Attractive banner stand frames are available for any occasion, from the eco-friendly warm color of bamboo, to 100% recycled aluminum.

Versatility

A display that can rewind into a removable cartridge makes it very easy to change banners in an instant. Cassette cartridges magnetically attached inside the base of the banner stand can be purchased separately and filled with another banner. To change the banner, simply change the cartridge and the new banner is up in seconds. This feature comes in handy during conferences or conventions, when subject matter may change every few hours, and the banner display stand may change hands.

Roll up vinyl banners can be printed so vividly that they are used to display beautiful artwork advertising everything from a museum art show to casino nightlife. The physical proximity of the banner advertising has a powerful effect on the people viewing it as they pass by. Just about anything can be printed and displayed on a roll up banner, but how those words and pictures are printed has a significant effect on cost and the result. Deeply colored photographs of stage personalities for casinos or concert halls started with a fantastic image capture, and were then digitally printed to bring out the best color. For a professional finish, that banner is showcased on a retractable banner stand, with its seamless support system, and low-key stylish aluminum base.

For events without the backing of a high roller’s budget, customized vinyl lettering can be computer generated, requiring little effort on the part of the printer, and saving money. The other option is to use silkscreen printing if there is vivid color that needs to be displayed on a large order of banners.

Fits Any Location

Businesses benefit from the low cost of advertising with roll up banners immensely. After all, the cost of a handful of colorful product banners and stands is much lower than print or media advertising that carries recurring costs. A properly set-up banner display will last for years without fading.

Universities can take the value concept a step further. The schedule for classes and degree programs allows budgeting for advertising costs well in advance, making display banners and roll up stands an obvious choice on campus. The school can have several roll up banner stands and banners on hand to put calendar events and upcoming registration periods directly in the midst of the student body traffic. This saves money on traditional printing costs for posters and flyers.

Point of sale transactions, trade show booths, church fundraisers; the most cost effective solution to a clear display that will be noticed is the roll up retractable banner stand.

Liberty is Bliss: Pull Up Banners

Posted by on Monday, 15 February, 2010

Do you want to save space but not compromise on the ability to convey a message? Then pull up banners could possibly be in your future. They are simple to set up and business friendly. They know they belong in your store at that event. Pull up banners are not difficult in propping up and they connote to the shopper, this business is real and we are proud of our product. This enables the sales clerks to concentrate more on the details and aesthetics since the meat of the product or business has been swallowed by that gorgeous banner in full frontal view. These banners are excellent for mobile phone businesses, exhibition chambers and they have been known to hang out in rent to own stores.

It is not uncommon to see a pull up banner at a trade show or in seasonal or holiday marketing in a retail enterprise. These banners pay for themselves. When they presenting a magnificent banner, the sales curve usually moves upward. This is not a coincidence. It is because the business is promoting their theme and it infers confidence. “I am proud of my product and business, so proud; I am making my existence known.” These banners can be lodged in as a window advertisement. This can suit two purposes since sometimes the storeowner does not want passerby to stare into the window in that particular angle. Why not implement a banner, attract real customers, and affirm you are willing to advertise to anyone who walks by. Yes, a storeowner could to the same with a large poster but the banner stands on its own, it is free, mighty and can hold its own.

Therefore, because it is a pull up banner stand, it can be moved to wherever management wants it. These banners are not stuck to the ground, therefore their options and mobility is limitless. They are not that heavy, it does not require Albert Pujols to be called in to lift this advertising device. Posters can tarnish the wall and will most likely leave sticky scum on the wall or window. Therefore, these banners are more conducive to promoting a healthy environment.

Pull up banner stands are a supreme advertising tool. They are what keep a business thriving and fresh in everyone’s minds. What this banner does is perpetual advertising, it saves the sales representatives from moving their mouth constantly, and to actually listen to the customer since the banner provides a lot of wind to those sale’s sails. Not only does prevent the sale’s clerks mouth from drying out, the customer has a chance to think about the product while be covertly hit with sales propaganda. However, no one can tell a banner to be quiet and they certainly fit in. If you want to discharge your ideas, this is the way to do it. How can advertising be done surreptitiously while being bold and upfront simultaneously. This banner is special and it is something you should consider purchasing for your place of business.

What is most pleasing to a buyer is that this banner is an instant classic. Results are usually immediate. Even if a store has one item on the banner, this fabulous design in graphical detail could indirectly help other items that are for sale as well. The entire business thrives. These banners can be designed to promote your business or just a segment of your business. They are able to pinpoint the advertising and since they are mobile, you can shuttle them around the store as the day or week progresses. This is why pull up display banners are worth the cost because they bring with them minimal effort.

There banners are often accompanied with the necessary components. This of course would be the foundation, the support shaft and the cartridge banner holder and with the simple direction manual with any necessary side components. The transferable colorful container is created so that your employees can alter the banners without a herculean effort. This allows your sales pitch to be fresh and clean, to keep pace with the day, month, or year.

These banners are light and mobile. They are a point guard, not a center, but project images that are as large and tall as a center. You may not have an issue with sales now, but the pull-ups can offer specific advertising. They can be displayed with just a single product on the decal so you can increase sales in a product that could be soon discontinued or that you have an over abundance in. Pull ups are muscular but not appear to be so, their stiffness allows them to in the thick of things. If they are bumped, it does not pulverize them. They may not be stuck to the ground but they are tenacious and can hold their ground. They are also cheaper than having massive posters stuck everywhere. The pull up offers many amazing options for the buyer; they are a useful tool, are welcomed by the public, and enable the day to shine a little brighter.

Roller Banner Stands

Posted by on Monday, 15 February, 2010

If you are looking for a hassle free way to carry your banner to any location, then you might want to consider roller banner stands and the benefits they can offer you. The main benefit of a banner stand is that it makes it easy to transport your banner to your location. Unrolling the banner and setting it up to the attached stand is a simple and straightforward process, especially if your stand has advanced features, such as a telescopic stand and a tripod. Once set up and extended, the base can be maneuvered any way you please, making it easy to get the best look for your banner in your chosen presentation.

Roller banner stands are also a great tool to have when you have limited space in your presentation area, but you still want to command the attention of your audience. For this reason, they are often used in large public venues and office buildings in order to display banners and crests. They help keep the banner and crest in great condition, while advertising your business or organization in a way that leaves an impact on people’s minds.

The popularity of banner stands has risen because they are easy to disassemble and carry wherever you need to go. If you find yourself needing to give a presentation in multiple cities for your company and you want to draw the attention of the crowd without having to lug around a huge banner, then you should consider a banner stand for ease of use and the convenience that it provides you.

Most banner stands can be folded up and packed away neatly into a medium sized nylon bag. This makes them easy to transport with you, wherever you may need to go. From sporting events, festival venues, to stages, having your banner in one easy to unpack package will cut your set up time in half, especially if your chosen venue or location does not have a clear place to hang a regular banner.

When setting up your banner, make sure to give yourself plenty of time to find the best place to position it relative to yourself and the speech you will be giving. You want to find a good balance between having the banner near yourself so it draws attention, but you do not want it to draw complete attention away from you so that the crowd is focused on it, instead of you. Placing the banner in a highly visible location while finding a balance between yourself means you will convey the message you want to your crowd, without distracting them with your banner.

If you are interested in purchasing your own banner stand to use, you will first need to decide on the features you will need. Traditional banner stands are equipped with a lighting system for optimal lighting for your banner. If you will be operating in a venue that does not have much light on the stage, then you will need a banner stand that has lighting built in. The lighting is also useful because it draws attention to the banner.

If you purchase a banner stand that has lighting, you will need to consider electric outlets. These may not be readily available in your venue, especially if you are giving an outdoor presentation at night. Considering an external power source for your stand should be a priority for you, especially if you know you will be at a location with limited electric supply. While adding the ability to remotely power your stand will add to the weight and the bulk, it will be worth it in the long run.

If you will have access to a power supply, there are banner stands that allow you display dynamic images for your banner. Dynamic banners have the added plus of being able to draw wider crowd appeal, since many people will focus on the images as they change across your banner. You can use this type of banner to display multiple images concerning your presentation, giving it that much more power when attempting to convert the crowd into customers.

Roller banner stands are available at a wide variety of locations, including at many office supply stores and even online, if you are unable to find exactly what you need. When purchasing your stand, consider the features you will need, and how much you are willing to spend on getting your message across to your crowd. Banner stands are durable products and could last you several years, so purchasing one that will have all of the features you need will be better in the long run than purchasing one that lacks a feature you may want further down the road.

Aside from their extreme portability and display versatility, the banner stand makes the perfect addition to any presentation on the go.

Pull Up Banner Marketing

Posted by on Sunday, 14 February, 2010

Think back a moment to your parents’ or grandparents’ old-fashioned home movies, and the screens they usually needed to show them to you. Those screens were stored in a tubular retractor, which was straightened out, perpendicular to their mounting stand, and the screen was lifted from the retractor and held open by the hook at the end of an extension post.

A pull-up banner operates the same way. The retractor is straightened perpendicular to the mounting stand, or is mounted on two or more standing feet or legs. The banner is lifted from the retractor and attached to the hook of an extender pole or rod. They are just as easy to transport, store, and operate as Grandma and Grandpa’s home movie screen. In addition, they are becoming more popular for use by businesses advertising seasonal or short-term special sales or deals; portable marketers who want ideal graphic or informational displays they can take anywhere; or, trade-show professionals who find it perfect for catching show goers’ eyes as they make the crowded rounds.

To offer one example, Anything Display, a New Hampshire company, offers retractable pull-up banners 24 inches wide and 78 inches high at maximum extension. If you want to do your own graphic or informational display on the banner, the device will cost you only $44.99 if you buy one; $44.24 apiece if you buy two to four devices; $43.49 if you buy five to nine devices; $42.74 apiece if you buy ten through 24 devices; or, $41,99 each if you buy 25 or more. If you decide to have the banners made with graphic or informational displays for you, Anything Display will charge you $129 for full-color printing on the smooth vinyl banner, plus the cost of the retractor mount.

The Marcom and Pop Company makes a more compact variation, a tabletop pull-up with a 29.5-inch banner length and a 10×16 inch image area, weighing four pounds and including a soft-sided carrying case. The banner itself is unlamented polypropylene and is considered ideal for long-term, static display, though lamination may be a choice for you if you plan to carry it from exhibit to exhibit or counter to counter. This tabletop banner is pricy to begin with–$255 list with Marcom and Pop—though you may get a price adjustment depending on your submitted artwork for the banner, unless you decide to use one of the Marcom and Pop design options.

Synic Corporation, known as SynicPrint.com online, makes seven varieties of pull-ups, for use as tabletop displays or floor displays. These include an 11 3/4x 17 ¾-inch banners with double-sided display and a silver-chrome lightweight retractor, listing for $9.59 but often selling as low as $7.99. A single-side display version lists for $7.19 but sells as low as $5.99. The full-length, floor pull-ups include 31.5×80 inch banners, round retractors, and single-carry bags, though some models feature double-capped stands that can accommodate even rough floor patterns and materials. The list prices range from $53.40 to $143.40; the sale prices range from $44.50 to $119.50.

A truly double-sided retractable—as in, two individual retractable banners lifted from the same retractor, facing opposite directions—is available from display-wholesale.com. The banners are 33×78 inches and you can have them printed to your specifications for $80 per print; the entire package costs $169 before shipping. The retractor is made of aluminum and the package comes with a carrying case and a single oval-shaped stand rail.

Those who have top-of-the-line budgets for top-of-the-line retractable banner displays, run functions that require multiple banner displays, and want elaborate graphic art options, may want to investigate Patton Associates’ Displays2Go retractable. This model features a telescopic mounting post and stand rails that pack right into the retractor base; 39×92 ½-inch banner displays with customized vinyl-based graphics and replaceable graphics; and, spring-rolling graphics loading allowing the user to roll the graphic of his or her choice onto the banner and change the graphics without having to change the banner. The package weights about fourteen pounds and costs $334.03 apiece, but if you are buying three to eight, it costs $287.67 each; and, if you are buying nine to 21 it costs $269.02 apiece. Those prices do not include a $25-per-image additional cost for multiple graphic options.

However, if you need the multiple graphic option and do not have an absolute top-of-the-line budget, you can still find a quality retractable from Numart Display. They feature a lightweight aluminum retractable that uses a cartridge-style mechanism to put the retractable banner onto the stand, with multiple cartridges available for a single stand. When you provide the artwork, they will make you a 3×7 foot banner with high resolution, 1200 dpi graphic display and an optional spotlight accessory. The basic device costs $155 if you buy direct from the company (the retail price is almost double), and additional cartridges/banners cost $80 apiece.

The Answer to Your Advertising Dreams: The Rollup Banner

Posted by on Sunday, 14 February, 2010

What do all sales advertising functions have in common? They want to brand their items and project their desired image across the masses. They want the customer to form their own positive opinions without taking up their newspaper pages or adding another commercial in the middle of a Lost episode. A rollup banner allows this hidden advertisement with minimal chances of it backfiring on the company that paid a lot of money to create that message. With rollup banners, it is clean, safe, and even harmonious. It sets the tone and the mood. It offers a cornerstone where the company can base itself from while the employees or representatives just provide the details while the meat of the subject is posted around, near or above them in silent glory.

This is why display devices are so popular to marketing firms. This is why they litter sporting venues all the way to other performances of every kind. The customer gets the feeling they are missing out something if they do not purchase that gorgeous product shining brilliantly on that cool banner. The rollup banner stands do this with an added affect; they are easier on the user. Decorum is vital; it must be in proportion to the event. Fancy operas to matinee movies can use the roll up banner stand without sacrificing any glee or being labeled tacky by some of the customers. Having the right display is critical. It does not matter how spectacular your product is, if you do not promote it properly, you are losing that edge. That edge does not come around that often.

The rollup banner is ideal for so many contests or circumstances. However, it needs to coincide with the overall theme and its environment. This is an important decision and should not be made in haste. There is not a shortage of display devices to help promote your service, existence, or product. The engineers and software writers have done their part, now it is up to you promote this product in the correct manner. Folks often avoid a product like the plague if it is displayed or promoted incorrectly or with poor taste. Paris Hilton for instance is a huge turnoff for most people, using her to promote your product is terrible miscalculation unless your target audience is male teenagers or young men. But even many of them are disillusioned with her for so many reasons, it could be looks or what she stands for, either way a quality product can receive poor acknowledgement if not promoted in the proper fashion.

This is where a roll up hits home. The roll up presents the image artistically and resolutely. This is professional and casual. It is not intimidating nor over the top. The effect you have been seeking and working hard to gain is what is in store. Once you have done this affectively, your underlining business should thrive. You will hear the registers ringing but do not show your show your happiness since that can cause you to misstep. The rollup is stunning and forces the customer or potential customer to make a decision, to consider this product and rather than put an exclamation mark on the product it provides a cushion and bedrock for your company to sprout increasing sales. Do you have any products that are on sale or some other special occurring? This banner can offer poignant and exact advertising and since they can hold so many different types of graphics, you can easily benefit with them standing all year around. In addition, since the rollups are made to endure, it is no wonder to see their widespread use.

What makes the roll up magnificent is that it is not a one size fits all product. And that rarely ever works out any way. There are so many different types and sizes of rollups, their uses are in the stratosphere. This banner is large enough to be observed from a distance but it does not block the view of the actual product nor does it consume half the floor space, which could intrude on the customer’s space and peace of mind. The customer should be able to walk inside the store while not having a huge banner or object preventing them from doing so. That is not very inviting.

The rollup banner is superb at unveiling messages that are dictated by everyday words such as: “sale,” “modern,” “brand new” and others words that are designed to impel or stimulate an interest. The rollup has enticed and dazzled customers such as hotels, retail outlets, trade shows, and car dealerships. Their versatility is what has made them so appealing over the years and do not require any energy to run. They are not small in stature but they weigh very little nevertheless. They can be set up in less than a minute and can be broken down and shuttered to another location in a short duration. Moreover, they come with a hand held carrying bag that even makes this transfer process that much easier. Why would you have a blank wall? That is a waste of space and the banner is not only a remarkable space filler, it is a fascinating advertising tool which begins to pay dividends in almost as fast as time as it was to set up.

The Banner Stands Family

This article will be about every type of Banner Stands humankind can think of, and there are many. It is not that the designers of this product are trying to be amusing or get one over on the public, but there is use for every type of these banner stands that will be described. Every type of event, all the parties, stores and malls all use banner stands, that is why there are so many of them. Moreover, since they are so adept at spreading a message, their use is running strong. The type of banner stand will be in italics and there will be a description of each one.  I am sure there is one that you could use.

Outdoor Banner Stands come in all types of shapes and sizes. They are made to fight off the weather and hold their own in every type of Mother Nature’s calamity. Banner stands that are made to be outside must be weighted down. Or they will blow over if any type of unsuspecting gust comes along which could hurt someone standing near it or damage the banner. There are two ways to hold down a banner stand, sand or water. Both have their positives and negatives. Outdoor stands come with some parts that bolster the frame and base in case the day is a little windy. Some of these will rotate with the wind, why fight Mother Nature when you can just work with her? Other outdoor banners can be stuck into the giving ground that are deemed flying banners. Outdoor stands are used frequently at food establishments beaming that juicy cheeseburger to all customers.

Retractable Banner Stands are superb when the times are short. In other words, when something needs to happen quickly, this is the time for the retractable banner stand. So, when an outdoor show is about to commence, perhaps one after another, these retractable banner stands can be put into play. These can also be dubbed roll up banner stands since they are rolled up in the base’s interior and then quite easily pulled up so it is taught and mounted to the pole. These poles are often adjustable or can be separated into smaller units and connected with a bendable lace. These can also be referred to as portable banner stands. These banner stands would work perfect at a trade show since trade shows are often fleeting, one-day events.

There are banner stands that turn themselves around. They are called Motorized or Scrolling Banner Stands. These types of stands rotate in a constant circle. The transfer and action appeals to the eyes since human eyes are conditioned to observe or notice movement. Advertisers like this for this reason; they get people to look at them. There is not much point in putting up an advertisement if no one is going to look at it. These scrolling stands do require a power source but can come in either wall mounted types or ones that can stand under their own power. These are great in movie theaters since they can show off a new hit release every weekend. These banner display stands pay for themselves.

Sometimes someone wants to display a simple poster. Some posters are spectacular so there are banner stands designed for this. They are called Poster and Sign Stands. There are so many of these, the most difficult part is choosing which one’s your business or event wants to use. These are idea for spreading some critical information.

You would think by now that there is not any normal banner stand, that every banner stand was special, sort of like a human. However, that is not quite the case. Standard Banner Stands may look regular but they have different scopes as well. A carbon compound pole with a steel bottom to bolster the banner’s weight is what this banner consists of. X Banners force the power to the corners of the banner to ensure the banner is flat so anyone walking by can see the entire face of the banner’s message and/or picture. These sorts of banners have been around since the 1960’s.

OK, we mentioned these before briefly, these are Telescopic Banner Stands and their preference is provided the buyer with options. These stands can change sizes so they can host different sizes of banners. That is really something. These telescopics allow strong poles to holding up the banner with pole gloves that the pole fits into.

Banner stand makers are salespeople first. They may not believe what Al Gore flies around the world talking about but they are trying to profit off of it. Green Banner Stands come with recyclable parts. They are mostly made of the same ingredients that a can of soda is: aluminum. There are also banner stands that are totally green.

Banner Stands of all makes and models are specifically designed for certain purposes. They are all intended to do one thing though, display someone’s message, and attract attention.
