If you are setting up a booth at a trade fair, getting the right pop up display stands is a must. Pop up stands are advantageous in that they are easy to set up and easy to take back down again, which is very helpful to those running the booth, as they will not have to spend long hours setting up and packing up. Pop up stands are professional looking and will enhance your booth, attracting potential customers and people interested in doing business with you. Another advantage is that pop up stands can be kept year after year and reused as needed. While they do need some care and you will have to make sure to store them properly, pop up displays are great investments.

Of course, no matter what type of pop up display you buy, it will cost money and a fair bit of money too, if you want to get something that is well made and good quality. You can also rent different kinds of pop up stands as well, which is more cost effective in the short term. Renting pop up displays is also a good idea if you are not sure that you would want to reuse the same displays again; that way you can get something new next year, or next trade fair. However, if you do set up booths and exhibitions often then purchasing the needed display stands does work out to be more cost effective in the long run. Whether you rent or buy your display stands, you will want to make sure to get something high quality. Your booth is often the first impression people will get of your company and the product or service you are offering and as has been said, it is almost impossible to undo a first impression. Having something that is cheap, or tacky looking, will work against you in the long run.

The first thing to do is to check out the location of your booth. Measure the height, width, and length of the area you have to work with so you know what kind of display or displays will fit and how high and long they should be. You will want something that will attract attention to your booth and be large enough that people can see it from a distance away but at the same time, you do not want something that is too large. Conversely, you do not want something that is too small for the area that you are using.
You should consider carefully exactly what kind of pop up display stands you want – if you are selling VCD’s or DVDs then a pop up TV stand, or pop up plasma TV stand will likely be a must. You may also find these helpful for other products as it allows you to play advertisements for them. You will want to check beforehand how loud you can play such advertisements as the trade fair may have guidelines regarding this.

You can buy display stands or pop up banner stands, as well as pop up mini counters, custom made from a number of different companies and online retailers. Having it custom made offers a number of advantages, the main one being that you will get exactly what you want, how you want it – it will be the exact size and style you want, which you may not be able to find otherwise, depending on what you have in mind. Naturally, this costs more than simply ordering something that is already made. You will of course want to check out one or more companies and online retailers to see what they offer, how much it costs, and, if ordering online, whether the company pays for the shipping or you do.

Pop up displays are made from gold, silver, titanium or platinum and the display part can either be fabric or graphic. You will most likely want to choose something that coordinates well with the logo of your company and the company ‘colors.’ If you get a graphic display stand make sure that it is designed exactly how you want it, especially if you plan to use it for more than one exhibition or trade fair.

You should take care to order your pop up stands as early as possible. Most trade fairs will allow you to check out your booth well in advance; it is wise to do so. See and decide exactly what you will need and allow time for shipping, or for the company not having what you want in stock right away. Particularly if you are getting something that is custom made you will want to make sure to allow plenty of time for the company to make exactly what you have in mind.
