What Types of Sticky Labels Should You Use for Your Trade Show Booth?
There are many things that go into creating a successful trade show booth, especially if this is the first time that your company or business has set one up. Obtaining the right display banners and table and shelves set up is a big job. Measuring your booth and then deciding on what the design of it will be and how you want it to look is a lot of work. In all of this, however, it is important to also remember the little things that will enhance the look of your trade show booth or exhibition and enhance your company’s image. Little things like business card holders, brochure holders, plastic ID card holders and sticky labels are all important parts of having a good set up for your trade show booth that will draw in a large number of potential customers as well as other companies that will want to do business with you.
There are a few different kinds of sticky labels – round sticky labels, clear sticky labels and blank sticky labels for you to write on. It looks a whole lot better if you get printed sticky labels as opposed to writing on them although you should consider having some blank sticky labels in case they are needed. For example, if you decide during the trade show itself to offer special prices on some items, then having blank sticky labels would be very needed. The idea of having sticky labels is so that people can see what price your display items are. In addition, some trade show booths will print their address out on sticky address labels and attach these to their product. Often this is done is the company has just recently changed their address and the have not had an opportunity or the time to have new boxes printed out with their new company address.
One thing to keep in mind is where you place your sticky label. You do not want to cover an important part of the box, such as a part that describes what your product does or how it works. It is a hassle, and very annoying, to buy a product with a large sticky label that covers important information on the box and then have to try to remove that sticky label so you can figure out how your new purchase works. It is not easy to remove sticky labels, as you probably already know if you have tried to do so. So, keep in mind where you put them and put them on a part of the box where it will not need to be removed. If you are placing the sticky labels on the product itself then make sure it is easy to remove. It is easy to remove a sticky label from most products made of plastic or acrylic as well as from clothing items or other cloth items such as tablecloths.
Another use for sticky labels is to print out sticky name labels for those manning the booth at the trade fair. While this is better than not having any name label at all, it does look a bit tacky and it is much better to have the person name printed on paper and set inside a plastic ID card holder. It does not cost very much at all to do this and it looks a whole lot better than sticky name labels would have.
Of course, while sticky labels are pretty versatile and do have a number of good uses, such as were outlined above, there are often other ways to mark the prices on the items you are selling. What is important, however, is that the price is marked clearly so people can easily see how much the items on display cost. Some booths do this by setting all the items on a particular table at a certain price and then having a sign up stating that this is the price for all the items on that table. This also works quite well and is less confusing in some ways that having all the items labeled at different prices but it may not be realistic for the product you are showcasing. If your items are not all that varied in price, however, then having separate signs up and around your trade show booth stating how much the items cost can be a good alternative to using sticky labels. It also goes without saying that if you are using sticky labels to mark a change of address on your packages that this should only be a short term, stop gap solution. Have proper boxes printed as soon as possible with your new address and contact information on them as this looks a whole lot more professional than using sticky labels.
