A <a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/corner-stand"title="" >corner stand can be a good option for a small living room. Purchasing a <a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/corner-stand"title="" >corner plant stand, for instance, provides a place to put plants in the living room, but at the same time, does not take up too much room and leave the living room looking cluttered. A corner <a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/stands"title="" >TV stand enables you to set up your living room comfortably without having to work around a larger TV cabinet.

<a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/corner-stand"title="" >Corner TV Stands:

There are many corner TV stands on the market. These items come in different sizes and styles; prices vary depending on which particular brand name, style and model you buy. It is important to note the size of your TV before purchasing such a stand; you would not want the stand to be either too small or excessively big for the TV.

Be sure the color and style of stand you choose matches well with the existing living room decor. Also, consider whether you want the TV corner stand to have shelving space or cupboard space, or whether you do not mind having a simpler model without either of these amenities.

If you want a shorter TV stand, then you can find these for sale for around $50 at Wal-Mart’s online retail site. This particular stand can hold up to a 42″ TV and it has a little shelf space underneath, but not much. If you have a smaller TV and want room to store your CD’s, then the corner stand selling at Amazon for around $50 is a very good buy. This particular stand has three audio racks and can store up to 40 CD’s. However, it cannot be used for a TV larger than 30″.

There are also some very good looking stands of this nature that cost $90 to $100; these can be bought at either Wal-Mart or Target. These stands are a darker brown, have two cupboards and adjustable shelves. The stand for sale at Wal-Mart can hold up to a 37″ TV while the one selling at Target can hold up to a 35″ TV. It is important to note that the model for sale at Target is currently only available via Target’s online retail site, www.target.com.

Corner Plant Stands:

Corner stands for plants come in different sizes and styles. Some are made from wood; others are made from metal with <a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/glass-shelves"title="" >glass shelves, while others are made completely from metal. Often the metallic ones are more affordable and one advantage to these is that you do not have to worry about water from the plants damaging the shelves.

If you intend to set up the corner stand on the patio, it is important to buy one that is suitable for this purpose. Not all plant stands are made to be set up outdoors; whether the stand can or cannot be used outdoors should be noted on the box. A wood or metal outdoor plant stand should be treated so that it will not be ruined in rainy weather.

If you want a small to medium sized item of this nature, then the Black Metal Folding Plant Stand selling at Amazom.com is a very good option. This particular stand is made entirely from metal, is very decorative in style and only costs $30. Lowe’s sells the “Garden Treasures 54″ Corner Shelf Plant Stand” for around the same price; is it also quite nice looking and is slightly taller than the above-mentioned model.

If you have the budget for it, then the Jewels of Java Plant Stand Corner Unit is a good option. This particular plant stand can be used either indoors or outdoors and it is quite large, so you will have room to put a number of plants on display. The 4-tiered Iron Scroll Corner Rack Plant Stand currently selling on eBay is very beautiful; it would look great on the patio or in the living room, especially if you have an iron scroll-work front door. This item, however, is a bit pricey and costs nearly $300 to purchase.

The style and design of the corner stand you choose will depend on your personal taste and preference. However, you will probably want to match your choice to the rest of your home’s decor to complement the existing furniture and accessories. If you have a more modern home decor, choosing a corner stand to match will enhance that design. On the other hand, if your present decor is more traditional in style, having a stand that will blend in well with this style will complete your arrangement. Color scheme is also a factor to consider in order to create the attractive overall environment you desire. Purchasing the appropriate corner stand can serve both functional and aesthetic purposes in your interior design and with a bit of research into the various options available to you, you can accomplish this goal.

Selecting the right <a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/media-stand "title="" >media stand is a matter of several factors not least of which is personal preference. For instance, does your media stand need to hold a heavy television or a DVD shelf? Does the media console house an entire entertainment center to hold your television, DVD player, magazines and other items? What color do you prefer, black or natural, to fit with the overall décor of the home, office or conference room that will hold the furniture? Most of all, how much are you able to spend and does this budget allow you to choose the features you need?

TV <a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/media-stand "title="" >media stands can cost around $200 or up to $5000 depending upon your preferences or the brand name you may want. For instance, a Bella LCD/Plasma Glass <a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/stands"title="" >TV stand has a state-of-art look and can hold up to 130 pounds. The silver finish adds an additional futuristic edge and is a nice option for flat panel, DLP or LCD projection televisions up to 50 inches wide. The two curved lower shelves can hold other audio and/or visual components up to 50 pounds each. The Bella stand also hides interconnect cables and wires via an integrated CMS cable management system, giving an additional safety feature to this stand. This stand cost just more than $500.

If you are looking for a more natural-looking option for your home, the Prepac Manhattan Espresso stand is also designed for plasma and LCDs up to 60 inches in length. Its four shelves can accommodate various types of audio and/or visual equipment. Furthermore, two of them are adjustable so that you may accommodate equipment with special height needs. The two center drawers allow extra storage space so that you can easily find all the items you need to enjoy your television. Aesthetically, this is a beautiful choice with a laminated finish and solid brushed nickel knobs. Safety advantages include rounded edges and cutouts to pull away cables. This handsome TV media stand only costs about $250.

Other wood finishes offer the same cozy look for the home. The Home Styles Furniture Homestead Wood LCD/Plasma television stand boasts an elegant distressed warm oak finish. It holds approximately 100 pounds, 52 inches and has two single-shelf, adjustable cabinets. These two side cabinets allow extra storage space with the two open shelves situated in the middle of the stand. This stand is made with poplar hardwood and Cherry veneers with the intentionally worn warm oak finish, giving an extra homey feel to the room. This stand can be found for around $340 but requires some assembly on your part.

You need not always have to make a choice between state-of-the-art and classic designs. The BDI Deploy LCD/Plasma Glass television stand has a beautiful cherry finish, combining the looks of both the classic and contemporary. This stand looks small yet can hold a flat panel television between 30 and 50 inches or a rear projection television between 40 and 45 inches. Its top shelf can hold up to 200 pounds, the bottom shelf can hold up to 150 pounds and the adjustable shelf holds up to 60. The naturally stained Cherry design holds nearly shatterproof glass for its two shelves, one of which is adjustable. It also has integrated wire management features and allows flow-through ventilation. Furthermore, the BDI works a corner media stand. This stand costs less than $700 dollars and comes ready to assemble.

Media stand furniture need not be only for the home. Many designs can give an additional boost to offices, classrooms and conference room that frequently use media materials. The H. Wilson LP Series Plasma/LCD mount allows easy visibility across the room for everyone. This stand accommodates up to 100 pounds and can hold a plasma/LCD television between 32 and 50 inches. Its metal frame has a light gray finish and includes heavy <a href="http://bannerstandsrollup.com/plastic-shelving"title="" >plastic shelves with textured surfaces to prevent materials from sliding. Furthermore, this stand includes high-roll casters to make the stand easy to move. This stand can be found for less than $400.

If shelves are not needed in a television stand, then the BDI Vista LCD/Plasma television stand offers the same function of “view-ability” as the H. Wilson design. This functional stand is made to be mounted at an optimum viewing height while you sit comfortably. This stand has the option of a mount with a black or silver finish and the tower is actually adjustable. It also holds a capacity of 225 pounds and is recommended for flat panel televisions from 37 to 55 inches wide. This ready to assemble stand costs less than $700.

Your TV media stand can be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Whether for your classroom, home or office, media stands can be the right investment in your media needs. All you need to do is determine what they are and make your choice.
