One disadvantage to glass stands is that they are more delicate. You will have to be careful transporting them to and from your trade show booth and watch out that they do not break or crack. It may be well worth it for the items you are selling, however, to put up a glass stand on the table and have the items being offered artistically arranged. Glass cake stands, for instance, can be used not only for displaying cakes and pies but also for displaying candles, dolls, soaps, shampoos, and other such items. It pays to have someone who has artistic talent at your company arrange the items in place so that you can have an artistic and attractive set up.

Glass display stands are not the same thing as glass stands. Display stands are larger and offer more room to highlight products. These can be used for pretty much any product that you are offering although if you are selling heavier items you may want to use wooden or metal shelves that are better able to take the weight of the items on display. You can get either the ones that have a wooden framing, which is quite classy looking, or ones that have aluminum framing. These are cheaper but do not look quite as nice. There are wall mounted units, units that stand on the floor, and counter top units. There are also ones that are especially made for selling jewelry and expensive watches. Choose the one or ones best suited to your needs and your product. If you are selling expensive jewelry then you may find that having a glass display cabinet for it is a necessity; otherwise, be flexible and choose what works best for you.

There is also glass TV stands and while these are quite classy looking, it is often cheaper and easier to go with metal ones. All you need as far as a TV stand goes is something nice looking and strong to put your TV up on. You do not need something made with glass for that; going with something simple and nice looking is better. The only thing you really need glass stands and display stands for is to display the products you offer.

When it comes to display stands in general, you can either rent them or buy them and both options have their advantages and disadvantages. Most companies, however, set up booths on a regular basis to advertise their company and what they have to offer and it works out cheaper in the long run to buy the display items needed instead of having to rent them each time. Then, however, you have to make sure to store the items in a cool dry place while they are not in use and you need to make sure you have a storage area to put them in. It can be in many ways a lot less of a hassle to rent the display items year after year instead of purchasing them. This also gives you the freedom of not having the exact same set up at each booth but changing it around a bit and being more creative. In addition, if you have a limited budget it is always better to rent a good quality item than it is to purchase a poor quality one. After all, the whole reason you have a booth set up in the first place is to attract customers. Your product may be high end and the best there is, but if the display is not good quality, if it is obviously cheap and tacky, people will be turned off before they have the chance to try out your product or service.

At the end of the day, the most important thing to remember is that it is not what material your display units are made out of or how much they cost but whether they are good quality and even more important, whether the people who are manning the booth are outgoing and helpful. The people at the booth are just as important, if not more important, then the booth set up itself. People in the end will not remember whether what material the display unit was made out of but whether the staff at the place was helpful.
